I know.... Orange / Rust carpet..... it was here when we bought the place and cows and birds have always come before house remodeling! That is the life of many ranches other than maybe Ree Drummond that has lawyers and oil wells in the family backing up the family income.
I subscribe to too many mail lists. Most are about cooking. Every now and then they publish personal things about themselves.
Here is one of her 9 things I hadn't thought about. I can sure think or a lot more than 9 things around here for sure!
Nine Things I’m Doing To Refresh For Spring
https://joythebaker.com/2019/03/nine-things-im-doing-to-refresh-for-spring/
Joy says --- I love a fresh set of sheets on my bed every week but since I’m in fresh spring mode I’ve cleaned my mattress cover, flipped the big ol’ mattress (something that’s got to be funny to watch because I did it all by myself), washed and ironed the bed skirt (yea… the bed has a skirt THIS IS ADULT LIFE), and vacuumed under the bed too. I’m trying to hit up these peaceful ZZZZZZs! The recommendation: Deep clean the bed, all of it.
I hadn't really thought about this one. I know clean sheets always feel wonderful. We are not ones to clean weekly like you should it is just too much of a muscle fest for us to tackle. I have been saying for a few years we really need to clean the dust bunny herd under the bed. We have a few things under it that we need to move but it is just the whole dang queen size tall bed ! Dang that bed is a bigger job than my whole little 10x10 spring cleaning nightmare I'm tackling.!!! We only spend a few hours a night in it and share the rest of the night in recliners. It's a older age thing for those that are aren't aware. Aches and pains and meds rule your sleep not only how much but where.
I will keep this in mind after I get a few other eye sores taken care of. It's probably one of those things that after I finally get done with the other things that are screaming the loudest I will do this if I survive all the other cleaning muscles I have to use. LOL
Love
