What the decline in cooking means

I found this article about cooking and thought about just what it means.....

So if people aren’t cooking so much then folks are eating out more or using convenience foods at home or just plain ol’ snacking around. We have already done away with the family eating at the table together in most families. This is a critical family building time and  without this dinner time it is amazing how much the family unit is effected in a not so good way.
Meaning ….. eating out places will benefit if affordable.
Restaurants have a huge failure rate! Even with the higher customer sales the overhead is still high and I am already hearing how people are not going in to eat at many places if they have a drive in window. Many of them have 60% of their income with the drive through. So why have a larger building to pay rent or to maintain and larger utility bills? I am seeing some (just a few) switch to the smaller building with just drive through services or a couple of tables inside. Smaller facilities will probably mean less workforce also.
Fresh veggies and foods at farmers markets sales may decline for the small grower. They may have to expand to have enough sales to supply larger food industry markets for convince foods.
Quickie mart foods will probably make more money when you can go in pay for gas grab a hot dog, drink and keep on moving.
Americans health will decline even more due to the poor nutrition in the foods they will be consuming due to general laziness and eventually ability to know how to cook even the simplest of things.
In the building remodeling markets kitchens will become even smaller and big nice appliances with go the way of the payphone booth replaced with quicker smaller devices even a dummy can operate. Maybe they will start looking like the quickie marts section with things laid out you just walk by and grab? Not like you would need a pantry to store stuff.
Delivery sales will increase in food deliveries.
Just think at how much larger each months credit card will be. I guess they can just pay on it and keep paying higher interest .... but at least they can eat right?? Shame they may not know how to cook or grow some simple veggies.
Grocery stores are already getting hit with the sale and delivery of online foods from Amazon and other places. We will see these disappear or become much smaller like a quickie mart for things that are perishable that don't ship well.
All kinds of things will be changing when you are talking about the actual nutrition of the food a group of people will be consuming. Lack of proper ABC’s minerals and enzymes and you will be spending more time in the doctors office than ever and on prescriptions.
It's even possible the ability for critical thinking skill could effect a large section for those with bad nutrition.
What a fun dummed down world we live in.
