If anyone is thinking ahead to all the holidays.......... and still have enough money to spend on a gift,,,,,,,
I have ideas for you........
Anyone with kids...... Sprinkles of ALLLL kinds ! You can pick them up at walmart cheap enough or order off of amazon.
Get holiday themed ones!
Valentines mix
red and pink
red and white
Red and green christmas mixes
Red and green singles
Halloween........ yes you missed it but that's ok sprinkles don't go bad they will be good next year! Yea!
Sometimes they have special mixes for the holidays like Christmas may have all the colors with candy canes in the mix
Then there are the St Patrick's day I have almost a pound of green shamrock sprinkles LOL!
Don't forget Easter sprinkles
AND glitter!!! Gold and silver
Sometimes you can find them in smaller bags at dollar tree.
YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH SPRINKLES IF YOUR A BAKER!! or have kids
Then you have all the different extracts some people are picky about a good quality vanilla and some aren't. Don't just get the dark vanilla you also need the clear vanilla for things like white cakes or cookies.
Oh my goodness....! I would list all the extracts I have but my daughter says I have more than the local country IGA! LOL
Basics are vanilla, lemon, almond, butter, bonus is strawberry, rum, lime, coconut and a half dozen more
You could also get some gel food coloring. Not the old fashioned liquid like we used as kids, Gel works so much better. Chefmaster , Americolor, are two good brands. They have collections of them in 12 packs in small bottles of .35 ounces. I usually get the 10 oz chefmaster but I have some little ones also . The collections look like they are $24 and under.
Now if you have a cookier family ....... same things for cookie cutters. Metal is always better. Those cute plastic ones don't always hold up good and some of them if you leave them soaking get messed up. Ann Clark is one of the better brands made in the USA. These come in singles and collections also.
Chocolate chips......... you know those great big bags at Sams club?I have at least 6 of those. You want the dark, milk chocolate, semi sweet. Don't forget the mini chips...... there are just some things the mini's are better for! Some folks like those expensive fancy chocolates but honestly as picky as my taste buds are I really don't like them usually.
While at Sams a couple bags of pecans .
Well that's all the shelf stable stuff I can think of.
It may sound kind of silly but anyone that bakes and gets a box full of these kinds of things will be in heaven!
Did you know some bakers have a sprinkles area they display for everyone to see how good their collection is? REALLY they do!
Now if you really want to blow their minds........... several 7 lbs bags of powdered sugar from Sam's or 50 lbs each of granulated sugar and all purpose flower
Don't forget to add some of you favorite recipes passed down from grandma with all the little notes written on them!
Love
Ranchmama
