Ranchmama's 2021 Valentines Day

It was busy! Most of the day was in the kitchen. Snow was just spitting like someone sneeze in the morning, teeny tiny flakes then later on it decided to do the job right and started blowing tiny snow flakes with small drifts in the yard. I think we had maybe 3-4" from watching inside. Frosty doggie really didn't like this snow business! Go out only if she had to then run back in just as quick as she could. We acted like retired people and watched the son in law do all the cold busy work you have on a ranch from a nice warm house. Hubby went out and did a little sidewalk clearing but that was enough for him.LOL
I made two more 8” pineapple orange cakes. One for me and hubby. One for Nikki and her husband along with 3 hot chocolate bombs not only for Valentine’s Day but also for their anniversary since they were married on that day a few years ago. Hot chocolate bombs were fun but it was hard to keep them all shiny as your working with them filling and sealing up. Learning curve for sure.

For hubby’s valentine supper he got one of his favorite meals. Cut up and delivered to the living room with tea.

For dessert we had a piece of the cake.

I’ve gotten good reviews on the cake. Hubby even liked it even though it wasn’t plain ol vanilla! Lol
Nikki said “ Cake is hands down one of my fav ever! Keep it and make it often exactly like this“
The other folks enjoyed the cakes I delivered for the birthday also.

Love
Ranchmama
( now I have to figure out what to do with 8 left over egg yolks!)
