The Purple Unicorns

Sometimes some days are just strange. This Purple Unicorn day actually started the night before.
Neighbor called and said she found 3 donkeys in the road and put them in her yard. She asked if I had any idea who they belonged to. Told her I had no clue.
She texted later and thought she heard more down my way. Told her no Heidi Ho was outside and she would have told us. Told us who knows what critters we will find in the morning ! Lol
Well sure enough hubby goes in the tractor to put hay out and when he gets back we had 3 donkeys. ( unicorns ) down in our barn ! Text neighbor told her I found  3 donkeys and she said hubby came home late and left the gate open so they got out.
My hubby had called the sheriff and told them to come get them because we had no clue where they go.
I told him we could keep them so I wouldn't have to do so much brush hogging. Then I look up and see about 30 head of cows running to the other corner of the place to get away from them! Well I guess that canceled that idea out. Lol
Talked to helper and he said he knew where they go he thought. We called sheriff and canceled the pick up. Sure enough turns out I had met her a few years ago at my homeopathic doc friends and I had her card so I called her.
Oh my goodness! She is a midwife on her way to Amarillo for a client but she had 6 kids at home that would come and get them! She said that they had been gone 3 weeks and she passed my house 70 times looking for them. She said she prayed and prayed to find them.
Here's the interesting part. These are milking donkeys! That's right didn't know there was such a thing either.
The lady is a naturalpathic doctor and she uses the donkey milk for a few kids with a disorder where they have to take antibiotics all the time. The donkey milk keeps them off their meds. And keeps them well.
All 6 kids came to pick them up. Interesting to see how they operated together. Kind of like a voting system.
Funny how God works isn't it? They get loose. 3 weeks later someone finds them and nobody had a clue where they belong. They get loose again and come all the way to our barn so the helper can tell us where they belong and they can go home to get kids well again!
Here's our purple unicorns folks!
