And This is Just One Reason I Don't Get MY Things Done!

I actually thought this Sunday I was going to get a few things that I really needed and have needed to do for months! I had a good start and was actually was getting my groove on ..... What a nice feeling !

It didn't last long ......

This is what happens when hubby calls up and says..." Could you come down here and help me?"
Sure! Where are you and what do you need help with?
I'm down at the shop and I need you to help figure out how to get this working better?? What working better? The saw!

Ok, so I get dirty work clothes on head down there.

I get there and he has the radial arm saw trying to figure out why it isn't sliding back and forth good.

So.... Here I go. This is one of those things I'm good at.
We flipped up the lid and my goodness the wheel pulleys were all messed up we were lucky it would turn on at all ! He thought we were done and I told him nope ! Not a chance!

Turns out it has a real hard time doing anything when it has things like this inside and out of it!

This was just 2 of the huge dirt dobber things we knocked out of it as big as my fist!
3 different shields off and a really wicked huge screw driver poking chiseling around on it then the air compressor ( with me hiding outside from the dust so I don't get sick)  knocking more out .
When the dust settled I went in and wiped it down cleaned off the rails and kept lubricating as I moved it back and forth until I had all the other hidden dirt dobbers out and it moved freely.

I fit the biggest trash bag we had and covered everything up. There's still room for improvements but at least it can be used now.

Naturally the floor was inches deep in dirt and clots from this one and the drill press he cleaned out. We were both just pooped but we got a few shovel fulls of dirt out.

Why was it such a mess? It's  one of those things we disagreed on. He thought if he kept it sprayed we wouldn't have the problem. It was better but I thought everything needed covering and a few other things. I told him that shop was full of all kinds of holes those things could get in through! He totally disagreed! I said fine I'll point them out to you next time!
The whole time I was sweeping I pointed out quite a few holes. So now he's going to be plugging holes! Lol

I don't know when I'm going to be able to get my stuff done. I just have never really had anyone I could ask to help me. I've most always had to do things on my own. One of these days......

Oh yes, super WAS going to be potatoe soup with grilled steak in it. Ain't no way! I am already seriously hurting and he will be lucky to get a sandwich. Lol

**** NOTES ****
Hubby Likes this one
Even I like this recipe and I don't like Thousand Island Dressing!
Watch your ingredients and keep the MSG and other nasties out of the mix.
This has a lot of salt when combined with the other ingredients you may want to leave that out if you have BP problems.
I don't do pepper so I didn't add that at all.

2016 New Year Start

I'm not one usually for making New Years resolutions I just try to improve on the year before and go on.
It is the family tradition around here though to eat black eyed peas and hog jowl. I had the peas and no hog jowl but loads of good crisp bacon.

I had mine on top of a bowl of jasmine rice with a side of butter bread sprinkled with powdered garlic.
Hubby passed on the rice and bread. The best part of a good luck meal like this is that with all these starches it is garanteed a really good night sleep!

Happy New Years Everyone
