This one is for current mama's and daddy's with
something handy for the grandparents and aunts and uncles to have around
to help if needed.
Feeding babies used to be such a simple thing! Baby is hungry mama would find a quiet spot and breast feed the child. Now days so many people just don't do that. It's a time consuming thing for sure and hard to do when your needing to go to work or get things done.
Now even if you did breast feed your child a little while then went to formula you may have problems. With the current political issues going on baby formula is almost impossible to find. When jobs are going away or prices keep rising it will be too expensive. Although I have heard it is possible to restart breast feeding your babies I can only imagine the problems of getting your body to cooperate! Then getting the child to return to the old fashioned mama bottle instead of the convenient plastic bottles / nipples. Man! What a challenge!
So what are you supposed to do?!!
You can find a wet nurse that is currently nursing a baby to let your child nurse also. Who doesn't think that is weird this day and age? LOL You can also try to find recipes that you can make for you child if they are to small to eat regular foods or use a sippy cup.
Here are a couple of good links parents and grandparents also should take a look at and see if there is something here that would work for your family.
Remember now I have no idea how well these work for your family or the nutritional needs provided in these recipes. Check with your doctors to have them give you the ok or a nutritionist. There are also Breast feeding organizations you can try to look up that can help you with all of this that I am sure have encountered it all and have good advice as to how to deal with these problems we are having now.

Homemade Baby Formula
This link is good. The formula recipes are varied and precise on nutrition. They have charts comparing the nutritional content of the different recipes. They also have recipes for sensitive babies.
The main problem is many of the ingredients are not in the normal kitchen cabinet. You will need to purchase them online. I am not sure what the long term storage of those items would be.
If nothing else you have a guideline as to what is considered the basics of a good recipe are and you can modify as needed for your child or the availability of ingredients.

Here is one I remember.....
I had a Aunt with 6 kids of all ages. She would take the glass bottle, fill it with warm milk then add karo syrup and baby vitamins.
So the list looks like this
7 oz warm milk
1 T of karo
baby vitamins
Now don't go ballistic on me here! This was probably 50 years ago! People didn't have a problem with corn syrup or sugar in general with their babies diets like they do now. The Karo was not only to get the baby something tasty but to help control the constipation I believe from the cows milk or maybe the vitamins back then.
