You have my permission to laugh .... loudly....LOL The blue was ..well .. just there.. it worked.
I didn't like the marshmallow frosting. It was jjjjust enough to cover things. Not nice and thick but it did the job. Pain in the tail to do also. I think I will stick to another recipe with 1/2 marshmallow cream and1/2 butter cream..... or some version of that.
Give me just a nice party cake with frosting and drip icing or candy for decorating... now I can usually pull that off. But piping... as you can see I just need to bribe someone else to do that. Hubby didn't care, as long as it all dries out and hardens up like candy he's a happy camper.
At least the wrapping paper was a good manly paper.
The little packages are CD's of civil war songs. One is by the Second South Carolina String Band they are a favorite. Look it up on youtube.
